James Suckling scores

Written by Monica Bizzini on 27 May 2021

Thirty years of career at the prestigious Wine Spectator magazine, mainly spent at the Paris office he opened in 1985 and in Italy near Florence; more than 225,000 wines tasted; founder of the jamessukling.com website; organizer of renowned wine events; defined by Forbes as “one of the most powerful wine critics” … this is James Suckling: one of the most authoritative and well-known wine critics, whose opinions attract the interest and respect of wine lovers, great collectors and the entire wine sector world.

Getting good scores from him and from Jo Cooke, his collaborator at Wine Spectator’s Tuscan office, is a source of great pride for us.

We are happy to communicate the scores obtained by our wines subjected to their judgment: 94/100 for Barolo DOCG 2016, 93/100 for Barbaresco DOCG 2017, 90/100 for Roero Riserva DOCG 2017 and for organic Roero Arneis DOCG 2020.

Thanks to James Suckling for the great reviews!
