2007 harvest

Written by Monica Bizzini on 20 September 2007

The year 2007 was characterized by a significant advance compared to other years. The winter was mild, with temperatures that never dropped below zero, in May there were abundant rains. These climatic anomalies have anticipated the growth cycle of the vineyards of about two weeks. August and September have seen hot days but not overly humid and cool nights, this has led to an optimal ripening of the grapes. The harvest began with the white grapes on August 16, with a record advance! The wines of this vintage will be remembered: white balanced with moderate acidity, structured red.
