2008 harvest

Written by Monica Bizzini on 01 September 2008

The year 2008 was characterized by cold and rainy May and June, this has significantly slowed production cycle. After mid-August the weather has been restored and recreated the optimal conditions to facilitate the proper maturation of the grapes. The quantity has decreased, but this led to a better quality. The residual sugar is good but not excessive. The white wines of this vintage will see a marked fruity flavor, while the reds are particularly elegant. The nebbiolo-based wines have a remarkable structure, given the particular weather pattern.
