Alba International White Truffle Fair 2022

Also this year we are present to the 92 edition of the Alba International White Truffle Fair.

“Time is up”: the Fair theme is both a provocation and a challenge. Time is running out if we do not become aware of the risks that climate change brings. 2022 saw an unprecedented drought in our country, and in Piedmont in particular. The lack of rainfall is a worrying sign for the environment, for crops and indeed for the Truffle, and this year’ s edition of the Fair aims to underline this.

The Fair will begin on October 8th and will finish Sunday December 4th, every Saturdays and Sundays, and also Monday October 31st and Tuesday November 1st.

The essence of the Fair is the Alba White Truffle World Market; during this event, the Alba Truffle Show takes place: a Show Cooking with the great chefs, the Truffle Sensory Analysis, the Wine Tasting Experience®, the fresh pasta atelier and workshop on typical local products.

But the fair is also made of folklore: on October 1st and 2nd  the great historical re-enactments and the donkey palio will be held, then on October 15th and 16th there will be the famous Boroughs Bacchanal.

It’s confirmed and increase its educational purposes the Alba Truffle Kids, with a pavilion dedicated to children and their families.
