Grandi Langhe 2017

Written by Monica Bizzini on 23 March 2017

width=2-3-4 April 2017, dates that the world of wine professionals cannot avoid noting down. After the success of 2015, the biennial event Grandi Langhe DOCG is back. The third edition of the event will be open exclusively to national and international professionals and the press.

Three days of tasting taking place in the different municipalities of origin, to allow learning about the wines directly from the producers and make new business agreements.

A real “journey” with itinerant tastings on the territory, in some of the most evocative castles and historic mansions to the discovery of the landscape of the Langhe and Roero, a unique territory where there has always been a visceral bond between man and grapevines.

Protagonists of this event not to be missed are the extraordinary DOCG wines of the Langhe and Roero: Barolo, Barbaresco, Diano d’Alba, Dogliani and Roero (we will present our Roero Arneis DOCG 2016 and Roero Riserva DOCG 2013Monday 3rd April at Guarene Castle – from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm). Wines of excellence and quality recognised worldwide together with the universal value of their winegrowing region of origin.
In fact, the area of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato was proclaimed Human Heritage by UNESCO.

For centuries viticulture has been the core of the economy on these hills. And this recognition by UNESCO is awarded to a territory of vineyards but also to the work of men and women.

The programme of Grandi Langhe has become, in 2017, more rich. There will be a tasting event totally dedicated to national and international press, called Nebbiolo Prima, during which new Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero wines will be presented.
